What do you do?

I'm a web developer. I specialize in creating the back-end structures of large-scale web development projects, primarily using PHP (including the CodeIgniter and Symfony frameworks), but I'm trying to eat up knowledge about Python and Ruby at every chance I get. I also try to do some front-end development and design work in my free time to keep my mind sharp and my skill set diversified, making me a great fit for projects where I'll be working with agile teams or studios.

I've done work with several great organizations, including Cart32 (McMurtrey/Whitaker and Associates), Ethix Studios and Missouri State University.

Interested in hiring me for work on an upcoming project?

I'd love to talk with you about the potential for collaboration or subcontracting opportunities.
Feel free to send me an e-mail at tkaemming [at] gmail [dot] com with the information regarding your product or project, and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I am able.

If your project includes a larger budget, quickly nearing deadlines or additional involvement beyond just a single developer, you might also want to consider Volta Creative, a design and development collaborative where I am one of the co-founders.

Where's the rest of your site?

I'll soon be moving this site to a server hosted with WebFaction, where I'll be able to drive the entire site from the great Django framework for Python. Until then, this is all there is.
